Month 4

After a pediatrician appointment
Today was Ariel’s 4 month inoculation appointment. We love doctors Fortune and Pavlovich at the North Park Community Health Center because they take a good amount of time to answer all our (very many) questions. According to them, and according to what we see, Ariel is in perfect health and usually good spirits. Right now she is in a deep sleep after getting 2 shots and a liquid inoculation. Altogether, there were 4 innoculations. We were scared of this appointment because her 2 month appointment was pretty traumatic. The nurse seemed to be hung over or sick, Ariel screamed like we’d never heard before, and she even threw up the liquid vaccine. All in all, it was super rough. This time was so much better since Ariel didn’t even notice the first shot and barely cried after the second one. And she didn’t throw up the liquid vaccine. The only issue was that we had to wait for an hour and a half…. Lame!
Now Ariel is back at home making her little gurgling sounds and playing with her fave toy in the swing. All is well.
